Tom Brady’s storybook career in New England is over after the six-time Super Bowl winner announced he was moving on via Twitter on Tuesday.

Now, with the GOAT taking his talents elsewhere, it is only natural to wonder who will become the Patriots’ first new signal-caller in two decades.
Some feel it will be Stephenville product Jarrett Stidham, who currently serves as a backup on the roster.
While it is unknown where New England turns to help carry on the franchise’s winning tradition, Stidham seems to be the wagering favorite, according to Odds Shark.
Updated odds to be the Patriots starting QB for Week 1 of the 2020 season (BetOnline):
Jarrett Stidham +175
Cam Newton +200
Andy Dalton +375
Jameis Winston +700
Nick Foles +750
Derek Carr +1200
Jacoby Brissett +1200
Jimmy Garoppolo +2500
Cody Kessler +3300
Joe Flacco +3300— Odds Shark (@OddsShark) March 18, 2020
Although the lines could be accurate, odds are whoever fills the void will struggle to achieve a fraction of the success Brady did in the role.
