Former Westlake QB Returning to Clemson

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik has announced he will return for his senior season in 2025, choosing to forgo the NFL Draft for now. Klubnik’s dominance started at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, where he passed for 7,426 yards and 86 touchdowns while leading his team to three state championships. He broke school records previously held by NFL quarterbacks Drew Brees, Nick Foles, and Sam Ehlinger. A five-star recruit, Klubnik earned national honors, including the Elite 11 MVP and Gatorade Texas Player of the Year, before committing to Clemson.

Since arriving at Clemson, Klubnik has consistently delivered. Over three seasons, he has thrown for 7,180 yards and 57 touchdowns while rushing for 784 yards and 13 scores.
