The three-star linebacker chose Northwestern over North Texas, Rice, UTSA and Colorado State among others.
It was a big year for the linebacker in 2016, finishing with 60 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks and two fumble recoveries. The Saints finished 8-2 last season competing in the SPC.
Mann becomes the third Texan in Northwestern’s 2018 recruiting class and the 11th overall. Pearland Dawson offensive lineman Payne He’Bert committed back in January while Houston St. Pius X wide receiver Jacob Jefferson committed just last week on April 1.
