Carson Wentz got another young deep threat after the Philadelphia Eagles selected TCU standout Jalen Reagor (Waxahachie) with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 draft.
Reagor hopes to help the Eagles return to Super Bowl contention after the team went went 9-7, won the NFC East, but lost to Seattle in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.
In his final year in Fort Worth, Reagor had 43 catches for 611 yards and five touchdowns. He was ranked as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports coming out of Waxahachie.
Reagor is the fourth former Texas High School Football star to be drafter in the first round after the Detroit Lions selected Ohio State defensive back Jeff Okudah (South Grand Prairie), the Dallas Cowboys took Oklahoma wide receiver Cedarian “CeeDee” Lamb (Richmond Foster) 17th overall and the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted LSU defensive lineman K’Lavon Chaisson (Galena Park North Shore) 20th overall.
