A two-star prospect, Herring earned second-team all-district honors as a junior after racking up 105 tackles, eight pass breakups and two interceptions for the Scots.
He now becomes commit No. 3 for Harvard and the first defensive pledge this cycle, lifting the Crimson’s 2018 class to No. 125 nationally and No. 1 in the Ivy League.
A 6’0, 185-pound prospect, Herring is ranked as the nation’s No. 193 safety and the No. 366 player in Texas, per 247Sports.
