Most of the third quarter remained scoreless until Port Arthur’s Amante Martin scored from the one-yard line. Hightower answered with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Fisher. Port Arthur’s Amir Young intercepted a pass and scored a pick-six, bringing them within reach at 27-20. In the fourth quarter, Martin added another touchdown, making it 27-26 after a missed extra point. With 30 seconds left, Jacoryn Baker scored, giving Port Arthur their first lead at 34-27. Emanuel’s long pass to Kade Phillips set up a one-yard touchdown pass to Fisher, tying the game at 34-34 and pushing it into overtime.
Overtime
Port Arthur managed a field goal in overtime, but Hightower’s Camben Emanuel sealed the game with a three-yard rushing touchdown, ending it at 40-37.
