A three-star offensive lineman from Houston made his college decision public over the weekend. Houston Memorial offensive tackle Joe Bissinger announced his commitment to Virginia over the weekend. The rising senior chose Virginia over Air Force, Kansas, Texas State and Yale among others.
Blessed to say that I have Committed to the University of Virginia! I would like to thank all the coaches who recruited me. #hoosrising pic.twitter.com/P4jOAED4s2

With the commitment, Bissinger becomes the sixth commit in the Class of 2018 for the Cavaliers. Offensive lineman Will Lawrence of Tennessee also made his commitment on Sunday.
At 6-4 and nearly 300 pounds, Bissinger has become an imposing force on the offensive line for the Mustangs. His play last year earned him first team all-district honors for the second straight season. The Mustangs finished 2-8 last season and they’ll look to improve on that mark in part by leaning on their offensive line and guys like Bissigner.
