Hutto made a loud statement Friday night, storming past Manor 56-7 for their most dominant win in over a year. The victory marked the Hippos’ third straight and showcased a balanced offensive attack.
Running back Keilan Chavies powered the ground game with a career-high 168 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries. Quarterback Kaden Stefek added 211 passing yards and three scores, completing over 70 percent of his throws.
Behind that duo, Hutto racked up 227 rushing yards and never looked back. Now 3-1, the Hippos travel to Round Rock Westwood on October 2, while Manor (0-3) aims to rebound at home against the Warriors next Friday.
Reporter Peyton Eitel was there to talk with Hutto head coach Eli Reinhart and players Kaden Stefek and Jaiden Fields after the game.
