Andres Gomez has nowhere to go but up.
For the past several seasons, Houston Northbrook struggled, producing just two victories in four years under Jeff Sciba.
On Thursday morning, however, change took place as Gomez, who was the assistant head coach at Klein Cain, was named the Raiders’ new head coach after Sciba stepped down from the position in early January. The news was first reported by @YourBranchNews.

After posting one win in each of Sciba’s first two seasons with the team, Northbrook went winless in 2018 and 2019, losing 21 consecutive games after collecting its last victory in a 34-12 win against Houston Spring Woods on Nov. 3, 2017.
Turning things around, however, will not be easy for Gomez.
The Raiders reside in the ultra competitive District 17-6A with Cy-Fair, Cy-Creek, Cy-Ridge, Houston Memorial, Spring Woods, Houston Stratford and Jersey Village.
