Mutin was part of an extremely tough Klein Collins defense last year. The Tigers only dropped two games – one to the Katy Tigers in double overtime in the second week of the season, and another to eventual state champion DeSoto in the semifinals of the playoffs.
The 6’1″, 220 lbs defender was also the defensive MVP of his district. There’s lots of reasons for Klein Collins to be excited about the upcoming season. They have a foundation now, and players returning with deep round playoff experience. Their quarterback race is currently still undecided, but when they get their sea legs under them they should be very good again.
