Dicker had a big year last year for the Cavaliers. He finished the season going 90 of 91 on extra point attempts and made 10 of 14 field goals with a long of 46 yards. His leg earned him a first-team all-district selection in 2016 as well as honorable mention on the all-state team.
Dicker is ranked as the No. 3 kicker in the country per 247 Sports. The offer from Texas was his only scholarship offer, but had shown interest in Arkansas and Oklahoma State.
He becomes the seventh commit in the Class of 2018 for head coach Tom Herman and the third in-state commit for the Longhorns. Per 247 Sports, the 2018 recruiting class is ranked third in the Big 12 and No. 19 overall.
