The Lancaster community and football team mourns the loss of a teammate this week after Coach Chris Gilbert took to twitter last night to announce the death of Edward Jackson:

Jackson was headed into his senior season and listed as a defensive lineman. According to Coach Gilbert, Jackson passed away Monday afternoon following a car accident.
The Lancaster football team will be suspending their scheduled Strength and Conditioning for the rest of the week in observance of his passing; they plan to return Monday, July 20th.
Jackson was part of the 2019 Lancaster squad that posted a 9-2 record losing in the state quarterfinals by a score of 38-20 to Frisco Lone Star.
