Dominant Mansfield Tiger running back Kennedy Brooks knows where he’ll spend his college days (for now), and it’s with Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Tigers are 3-2 this year, but it’s not because Brooks has been underperforming. They’ve lost to Cedar Hill by one point and Flower Mound Marcus by ten, and they’ve only scored under 40 points one time – in their season opener against Mansfield Summit.
This is a good Mansfield team that Brooks leads that has a real chance of doing some playoff damage if they can stop some of these incredibly talented offenses in the DFW area. Region I will be a bloodbath this year, and underrated teams like Brooks’s Tigers are part of the reason why.
Brooks has already put up staggering stats this year to go with his explosion in 2015. He’s already rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns through 5 games.
He’ll join a talent-laden Sooner backfield with Semaje Perine and the controversial Joe Mixon. Both of those players are relatively young, so Brooks will have some time to learn and grow before he takes the field in the crimson and cream.
Oklahoma has been plundering the DFW area for ages, and it seems like this year is no different. Many teams needed running backs this year, and the Sooners definitely stole a good one in Kennedy Brooks.
