Manvel is chock-full of talent, there’s no disputing that. The latest to get acknowledged on a national scale is Jalen Preston, who received an invite to The Opening finals today.

Manvel had one of the most stacked teams in the state last year, but failed to reach the ultimate goal of making a state championship. Now, this year, they’re stacked again, and they’ll have another excellent chance to make the finals.
The Mavericks will be partially lead by Jalen Preston, who is one of the most sought after recruits in the state. According to MaxPreps, Preston caught ten touchdowns in his 2016 campaign, with a 20.1 yard average per catch.
