One of the top offensive line prospects out of East Texas has made his college decision. Marshall guard Chasen Hines announced commitment to LSU on Sunday.

The four-star guard had a total of 14 offers according to 247 Sports which included Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and TCU. He stands in as one of the biggest offensive lineman in the state listed at 6-3, 330 pounds. Hines is also commit number 12 for the Tigers and the second commit from the Lone Star State, joining Cibolo Steele safety Caden Sterns.
Coming off an first team All-District season in 16-5A, Hines will be an important part of the Mavericks’ success in 2017 as they get set to play under a new head coach as well.
