Martellus Bennett went in, got a ring, and now is getting out – the former Alief Taylor Lion, Aggie, and Cowboy will be spending next season with the Packers.
Former Patriots TE Martellus Bennett is signing with the Packers, per source.

Due to an injury to the oft-injured Rob Gronkowski, Bennett became the Patriots’ starting tight end in December. He was instrumental throughout the playoffs and especially in the Super Bowl, in which the Patriots came back from a 25 point deficit.
While Bennett was obviously very successful in New England, and has proven himself as a consistently good tight end in the NFL, he’s been a bit of a journeyman over the years. He didn’t make many friends in Dallas or Chicago, and had an issue with his weight with the New York Giants.
The final oddity in this move is that the move was first reported by Nickelodeon’s Sports twitter account.
