The Smithson Valley product was part of a strong defensive effort against the Green Bay Packers as he finished with five tackles in the 16-0 win on Saturday night.

Malcom Brown, DT, Brenham (New England Patriots)

The Brenham product was part of an impressive pass rush for New England, finishing with six tackles and a sack in the win over Buffalo.

Elandon Roberts, LB, Port Arthur Memorial (New England Patriots)

Another former Texas High School football star also had a solid effort of his own, finishing with six tackles on the day.

Ryan Grant, WR, Beaumont West Brook (Washington Redskins)

Grant was the leading wide receiver for Washington on Sunday, catching four passes for 85 yards in the win over Denver.

Josh Doctson, WR, Mansfield Legacy (Washington Redskins)

The Mansfield Legacy star finished with two catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Denver Broncos.

Sam Acho, LB, Dallas St. Mark’s (Chicago Bears)

The Chicago Bears were able to get plenty of pressure on the quarterback on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Acho finished Sunday’s game with four tackles, half a sack and five quarterback hits in the win.

Drew Brees made even more history on Sunday as he broke the 70,000 yard passing mark for his career. In the game against the Atlanta Falcons, Brees threw for 239 yards and a touchdown as New Orleans clinched a playoff spot.
