WR Zay Jones – Austin High/Buffalo Bills
Without Zay Jones, the Buffalo Bills may have lost. Jones hauled in three catches for 33 yards but scored the only Bill touchdown on the day. His touchdown in the 16-10 win over Kansas City is his second of the season.
S George Iloka – Fort Bend Kempner/Cincinnati Bengals
Iloka had six tackles and one tackles for loss in the Bengals win over Cleveland. He now has three tackles for loss on the year.
WR Corey Coleman – Richardson Pearce/Cleveland Browns
The Browns didn’t win, but Coleman had a decent day. The Dallas-native grabbed three catches for 64 yards. Of those, 44 came on one pass. Coleman is on a poor Browns team, but should they find a quarterback, he could become a fantasy player to look for.
WR Mike Evans- Galveston Ball/Tampa Bay
Evans continued to have a season that hasn’t been great. The A&M product caught only six of his 12 targets. No touchdowns and 78 yards, but he hasn’t scored since October 22.
RB Rex Burkhead – Plano/New England Patriots
The Plano high school graduate had 13 carries for 50 yards. He also grabbed his first touchdown as a Patriot.
LB Elandon Roberts – Port Arthur Memorial/New England
From the stat sheet, it looks unimpressive, as Roberts had only four tackles. Two of those were his first career sacks.
QB Josh McCown – Jacksonville/New York Jets
McCown hasn’t ever been the greatest, but he is the most experienced player on his team. That didn’t look that way Sunday when he fumbled a ball away to give the Panthers the lead. Despite the game-losing fumble, McCown threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns.
QB Andy Dalton – Katy/Cincinnati Bengals
Andy Dalton looked good against Cleveland, as many do. Completing 64 percent of his passes for more than 200 yards and two scores did the job as the Bengals beat the Browns 30-14.
LB Brian Orakpo– Houston Lamar/Tennessee Titans
Orakpo had 1.5 sacks, adding to his four on the season in the win over Indianapolis.
S Earl Thomas- West Orange-Stark/Seattle Seahawks
The West Orange-Stark Super Bowl champion had five tackles against San Francisco. He helped keep the 49er offense to only 13 points and one touchdown, scored by Jimmy Garoppolo.
DL Michael Bennett- Alief Taylor/Seattle Seahawks
Bennett now had 7.5 sacks on the year after his one-sack performance on Sunday.
CB Jeremy Lane- John Tyler/Seattle Seahawks
The other Texan on the Seahawks defense had four tackles himself. Pretty good day for Texas alums.
WR Marquise Goodwin- Rowlett/San Francisco 49ers
Goodwin had four catches for 78 yards but did not score. He still has one score on the season.
LB Von Miller- DeSoto/Denver Broncos
The Broncos lost yet another game on Sunday but Miller is still trying to do his part defensively. The All-Pro linebacker finished with six tackles in Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
TE Ricky Seals-Jones- Sealy/Arizona Cardinals
The tight end from Sealy continues to take on a more prominent role in the Arizona offense. On Sunday, the rookie caught four passes for 71 yards and a score in the Cardinals’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
RB Adrian Peterson- Palestine/Arizona Cardinals
Peterson has been a valuable addition to the Cardinals since he was traded and he helped grind out yardage against a good Jacksonville defense. Peterson finished with 79 yards rushing and 20 yards receiving on the afternoon.
K Phil Dawson- Lake Highlands/Arizona Cardinals
Phil Dawson made four field goals, including the game winner from 57 yards out to help the Cardinals defeat the Jaguars and keep Arizona in the playoff picture.
QB Case Keenum- Abilene Wylie/Minnesota Vikings
Keenum continues to impress as the Vikings starter, finishing with 282 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
S Andrew Sendejo- Smithson Valley/ Minnesota Vikings
The former Rice and Smithson Valley standout led Minnesota with 7 tackles against Detroit.
S Adrian Phillips- Garland/Los Angeles Chargers
Adrian Phillips continues to have another solid season, tying for the team lead with seven tackles in the win over the Dallas Cowboys.
WR Josh Reynolds- San Antonio Jay/ Los Angeles Rams
The former San Antonio Jay star caught four passes for 37 yards and his first career NFL touchdown as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints.
RB Samaje Perine/ Pflugerville Hendrickson
The rookie running back had his first career 100-yard game against the New York Giants in the win for Washington. He also had 30 yards receiving.
K Chris Boswell- Keller Fossil Ridge/ Pittsburgh Steelers
Boswell made his only field goal kick of the night count, nailing a 53-yard field goal as time expired to give the Pittsburgh Steelers the win over the Green Bay Packers.
K Justin Tucker- Austin Westlake/ Baltimore Ravens
The veteran kicker for the Ravens made three field goals, including a long of 53 yards, in the win on Monday night over the Houston Texans.
