North Dallas has its new head football coach, and it’s a hire that brings experience from across the Metroplex.
Hunter Henzler has been named the new leader of the Bulldogs after most recently serving as an assistant coach at Mesquite. He previously spent three seasons at Woodrow Wilson, where he worked as defensive coordinator and helped lead a successful track program.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-6 season, their best finish since 2015, and a clear sign of progress after a tough stretch over the past decade. Henzler has also coached at Coppell, Daingerfield, Wylie East, and Slaton, building a wide range of experience along the way.
Now, the focus turns to keeping North Dallas moving in the right direction.
