One of the more underrated prospects from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex made his college decision on Tuesday. North Forney quarterback Colby Suits announced his commitment to the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM).

His only FBS offer came from ULM, but the rising senior signal caller also had garnered interest from Texas and Texas Tech. Suits becomes the third commit in the Class of 2018 for the Warhawks and the second Texan in the class as well, joining Mansfield Lake Ridge defensive end Brandon Nettles who committed last month.
Suits started coming into his own last season, throwing for 2,176 yards, 22 touchdowns and earning a second-team all-district selection for his efforts. The Falcons finished 4-6 last season and missed the playoffs but do have several skill position players that return in 2017.
North Forney opens their season at Mount Pleasant on September 1.
