The No. 6 Dual Threat decided that he wants to be able to take the time to mull over his offers to ensure that he is making the decision that best suits him and his family when it comes to college.
Davis has tallied 2,672 passing yards, 1,446 rushing yards, 54 total touchdowns, two state championships, and a 15-1 record with North Shore. In the 2019 season, Davis helped lead his team to their second consecutive state title.
The four-star prospect made an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech on November 9, 2019 before committing to the. Hokies just four days later on November 14. Since then, the 6-foot athlete has received five more offers that may have peaked his interest (Auburn, Miami, Kentucky, North Texas and Arizona State).
Davis still plans to officially visit Blacksburg, Virginia in June providing the restrictions from COVID-19 are lifted. He holds 32 other offers from schools like Arkansas, Baylor, Texas A&M, TCU, SMU, the national champions LSU and more.
