The Under Armour All American Game invites are still flying, and the latest from Texas is strong in the interior. Defensive tackle Calvin Avery was invited to the prestigious event yesterday.

The Under Armour Bowl is closing in on ten years of existence. First played in 2008, the event sends out invitations based on camp performances as well as previous game film.
Avery hails from Dallas’s Bishop Dunne. The Falcons went 8-6 in the 2016 season, falling in the state championship game to Bishop Lynch 21-17. According to MaxPreps, Avery recorded 12 sacks and 18 tackles for loss during that time.
