There’s a new energy surrounding the El Paso Austin football program. Under first-year head coach Eric Pichardo, the Panthers enter 2017 trying to break a 25 game losing streak and get the program turned around in the right direction again.
As the countdown continues towards kickoff, TexasHSFootball.com is going across the state as teams prepare for the start of the new football season. Schools from Class 4A on down as well as 5A and 6A programs who did not participate in spring football are on the field this week. Everyone else will begin practice on Monday.
