What was the highlight of your 2020 Season?

My 2020 season I played at Westlake High School, before I transferred to St. Michael’s this past spring. There were two big highlights from my sophomore year at Westlake:

First, after I had missed a couple of games with a sprained knee, the very first play coming back from my injury was a 60-yard TD pass to Garrett Nakfoor (see video).

Second was the experience of being a backup QB behind Cade Klubnik (Clemson commit) and experiencing our playoff run and State Title win at AT&T Stadium. I learned a ton from watching Cade and having that experience.

Who was the best player on an opposing team that you played against?

I’ve faced Bo Edmundson, another 2023 QB (at Lake Travis) several times over the years. We’ve also worked with the same QB coach Brian Thiebaud (@txqb). Bo is a great QB with a strong arm and a bright future.

Who is your favorite NFL player?

Russell Wilson, both as a QB and as a person. I love his ability to extend plays and throw the deep ball with accuracy.

What is your favorite sport or activity besides football?

Definitely bass fishing, which is challenging and competitive but also relaxing. I love it.

Favorite subject in school?

I enjoy math because it’s pretty easy for me and I like solving problems. I think math will help me in the future, especially if I go on to study business in college.

Why do you love football?

I love being part of a team, being a leader on a team, and winning. Football has been my favorite sport since I was 4 years old, and now I’m thinking of football as a career because it’s my passion. As a player, and then maybe as a trainer or coach, or maybe in the front office or in sports media, I will hopefully be involved in the sport of football for a long time.
