POLL: Who’s the Top WR in Texas?

Let’s have a poll: who’s the best wide receiver in the state of Texas?

1. Jalen Reagor, Waxahachie.

Reagor is a four-star recruit that is committed to Oklahoma. In 2015 he had 64 receptions totaling 1,108 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s ranked 19th best receiver according to 247sports.

2. Damion Miller, John Tyler.

Texas commit and four-star recruit Damion Miller runs a 4.49 40-yard dash. In 2015, Miller had 912 receiving yards to go along with nine touchdowns. Miller also plays defense and had 23 tackles with one forced fumble in 2015.

3. Tylan Wallace, South Hills.

The Oklahoma State commit can run the ball out of the backfield as well as play outside. He had 1,439 yards and 20 touchdowns to go along with 172 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

4. Omar Manning, Lancaster.

Manning has the ideal size that coaches look for in receivers. He had 12 touchdowns on 33 catches and 671 yards in 2015. He hasn’t committed but his choices are down to Texas, Oklahoma and TCU.

5. Tyrell Shavers, Lewisville.

Shavers is one of the tallest receivers in the class. His body will grow out as he matures but he already has 4.3 40 speed. The Alabama commit had 10 touchdowns and 667 yards on 36 catches in 2015.

6. Hezekiah Jones, Stafford.

He’s played all three previous season in high school. In his career he has 16 touchdowns and 1,284 yards. He’s committed to Texas A&M.

7. Mannie Netherly, Crosby.

The LSU commit has played some quarterback and running back in addition to receiver. At wideout in 2015, he had 60 catches for 1,002 yards and 18 touchdowns. He passed for 169 yards, completing 13 of 29 passes. On the ground Netherly had four touchdowns and 230 yards.

8. CeeDee Lamb, Foster.

The four-star recruit had 1,082 yards with 11 touchdowns in 2015. Lamb is committed to Oklahoma and is the 34th ranked receiver in the nation.

9. RJ Sneed, Cypress Ranch.

The TCU commit runs a 4.45 to go along with his ideal height. In 2015, Sneed had 559 yards and nine touchdowns on 34 receptions.

10. Roshauud Paul, Bremond.

Committed to Texas A&M, Paul is a dual-threat QB but is listed as a receiver on 247sports. He threw for 29 touchdowns and rushed for 40 last year. He also returned two punts and one kick-off for a touchdown.

11. KD Nixon, DeSoto.

Nixon is fast and agile for his size. He had 5 touchdowns in 2015 and he recently decommitted from Tennessee. He has offers from Ohio State, Arizona and Houston.

12. Judah Bell, Bishop TK Gorman.

The tall receiver with great hands is committed to the Naval Academy. In 2015 he had 1,350 yards receiving with 16 touchdowns and had 68 catches.

13. Charleston Rambo, Cedar Hill.

Rambo committed to Oklahoma and in his only year playing has 434 yards with five touchdowns.

14. Shamond Greenwood, Lakeview Centennial.

Greenwood’s 4.43 40 time with his 6’3 height makes him a dangerous threat wherever he plays. He had nine touchdowns and 821 yards in 2015. He’s committed to Oklahoma State University.

15. Cartell Thomas, Lancaster.

Thomas had 11 touchdowns on 54 catches with 943 in 2015. He hasn’t committed yet but has offers from Colorado, Texas Tech, and Texas State.

16. Camron Buckley, Cedar Hill.

Buckley tallied seven touchdowns, 430 receiving yards and 31 catches in 2015. He committed to Texas A&M before this season.
