Prosper wasted no time taking control Friday night, storming to a 21-0 first-quarter lead over Plano East behind a blocked punt return for a touchdown and two scoring strikes from Braeden Imhoff. That fast start set the tone in a 48-20 victory.
Imhoff was sharp throughout, completing 12 of 18 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns. His top target was Lathon Latiolais, who hauled in three scores and finished with 140 receiving yards. Dallas Boozer also contributed a 58-yard touchdown grab in the early surge.
Prosper added a balanced attack with Bryce Robinson’s 26-yard touchdown run and quarterback Tyler Albert tossing a 63-yard touchdown to Elliot Brown. The Hippos kept piling on big plays to remain unbeaten at 4-0 in District 6-6A play.
Plano East found some bright spots despite the loss. Quarterback MJ Haggan threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Kariem Pittman and Gabe Berliner. Still, turnovers proved costly as the Panthers slipped to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in district.
