On Friday night, Prosper faced off against cross-town rivals Rockhill in a highly anticipated district matchup. Both teams entered the game with wins, looking to maintain momentum. Prosper quickly took control, leading 7-0 after the first quarter. Their defense was relentless, forcing multiple stops and stifling Rockhill’s offense. By halftime, Prosper had built a commanding 28-0 lead. Although Rockhill managed a touchdown in the second half, Prosper responded with three more, securing a resounding 49-7 victory and further solidifying their dominance.
Looking ahead, Prosper will face a strong Plano team coming off a win against Plano West (35-14). Meanwhile, Rockhill will aim to rebound against McKinney Boyd, who narrowly lost to Plano East in a 34-31 game. Both teams will be eager to prove themselves as the season progresses.
