Last week, we wrote about how Quinn Ewers was considering forgoing his senior season at Southlake Carroll and heading to Ohio State early. The driving force in this decision was the ability to cash in on what would be in the high six figures of NIL money. The decision seemed inevitable.
Quinn Ewers Leaving Southlake Carroll
Ewers announced that he will be forgoing his senior season and enrolling at Ohio State. He has been able to take an online English course to fulfill his high school requirements. He will now be eligible to enroll at Ohio State for the fall semester and should be eligible to play right away.
In addition to moving on to college, Ewers will be making significant money. He has a rumored six figure deal that involves some ownership in the company from Holy Kombucha. We imagine in the next few days, other companies will be making offers and Ewers could find himself with close to seven figured in his pockets as he makes the move from Texas up to Ohio to play for the Buckeyes.
