Since Dragon Stadium first broke ground in 1999, it has seen its fair share of championship banners, players and staff inside its confines.
On Tuesday, the home of the Southlake Carroll Dragons saw another player of championship caliber on its turf in two-time Super Bowl Champion and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski posted on his snapchat a video of him working out on the field stating, “We snuck onto some random high school, baby, ‘cause we gotta get that work in.”

Gronkowski would later go onto thank Southlake Carroll, “for a great workout.” The New England Patriots begin their training camp in late July.
Southlake Carroll will open its season with two road games against Broken Arrow (Oklahoma) and Arlington Martin. Carroll’s first home game is scheduled on Sept. 15 against Rockwall. The Dragons went 10-2 last season.
