Rock Hill Blue Hawks vs Allen Eagles Game Recap
On Friday night, the Allen Eagles continued their district games as they took on Rock Hill, who was coming off a nail-biting loss to Prosper.

The Eagles found most of their success on the ground, as Micah Ellis rushed for 116 yards on 13 touches, racking up 4 touchdowns. Amir McDowell rushed for 83 yards on 10 touches and a touchdown, and Jackson Lyons found himself in the endzone as well, racking up 22 yards on 4 touches.
Eagles quarterback Brady Bricker completed 11 of 21 passes, as he connected with Messiah Washington for 87 yards on 2 catches, Quinton Hammonds for 52 yards on 4 catches, and Gavin Atkins with 24 yards on his lone catch. The Eagle defense came out strong to start the game, and never let up. The Eagles intercepted Rock Hill quarterback Christian Lewis twice, posting a second-half shutout and keeping the Blue Hawks to 7 points.

Quarterback Christian Lewis tried keeping his team in the game after being down one score at half, but he struggled through the air, as he completed 2 of 9 passes for 12 yards and only rushed for 21 yards. Most of Rock Hills yards came from the running backs, as Victor Chionuma rushed for 117 yards on 15 touches scoring one touchdown.
Jaylen Brown Delgado rushed for 38 yards on 7 touches, and Samuel Woody rushed for 13 yards on 2 touches. The Rock Hill defense kept it close with Allen until the second half, where they couldn’t come up with an answer for the explosive Eagle offense.
Allen continued their dominant streak over Rock Hill 42-7.
Allen will use next week’s bye week to prepare for a big district game against the McKinney Lions. Both teams share the top spot in the district, and Mckinney is looking to stay undefeated and a dominant team this year.
Next week, Rock Hill will use their bye week to prepare for Little Elm at Lobo stadium on 10/13.
