Episode 144 of the Texas HS Football Podcast with host Taylor Arenz features two standout offensive weapons making noise this season.

First, Taylor sits down with Pearland junior running back Royce Swan. The Oilers remain undefeated, and Swan has emerged as their featured back with nearly 1,000 rushing yards through six games.

Swan talks about stepping into a bigger role, his development as a runner, and what he has learned as his recruitment begins to grow. He also discusses the balance within Pearland’s offense, the Oilers’ defense, and their huge Week 6 victory over Manvel.

Dylan Jaeger Continues to Produce for Round Rock

Taylor also talks with Round Rock senior Dylan Jaeger, a TCU commit who has developed into one of District 25-6A’s top receiving threats.

Jaeger discusses his development, his chemistry with quarterback Dov Stickler, and the weapons surrounding him in Round Rock’s explosive offense.

He also takes listeners through his recruitment and commitment to TCU. Although Jaeger has made a major impact as a receiver in high school, his future is expected to be at tight end.

With his college decision settled, Jaeger remains focused on helping Round Rock accomplish its goals during his final high school season.

Episode 144 gives fans a closer look at two playmakers at different stages of their careers: Swan beginning to establish himself as a major recruiting prospect and Jaeger preparing for the next step at TCU.
