It happens every single year without fail: there are inevitably some that will leave Texas to continue their playing career elsewhere. For 2018 Sachse DB Isaiah Humphries, that somewhere is Penn State.

Humphries is a four-star DB with excellent instincts in the open field. If you’re wondering to yourself, “Why Penn State?”, the answer is a fairly clear one: Isaiah’s father, Leonard Humphries, played DB for the Nittany Lions, and was drafted in the 8th round in ’92.
It’s obviously an excellent pickup for Penn State, and it highlights how much talent is on that Sachse squad. The Mustangs were perfect before losing to The Woodlands in the second round of the playoffs last year, but they definitely have the talent returning to make another playoff run.
