Siege Sports is a brand that’s been all over the nation, including the state of Texas, where they’re partnered with Belton High School. The sports clothing brand has its hands in everything from basketball to high school sports to college football. The company was founded through a local sporting goods company in Kansas City, and quickly expanded behind ideals of giving athletes and coaches an experience rather than just a uniform.

The company makes just about anything work, they are no one-trick pony. If you’re looking for something modern and flashy, they can whip up something like the UKMC Star Wars specialty uniforms. If your style is more traditional, more workman-like, they gave UKMC a slick throwback uniform as well.

Siege Sports has been heavily involved with the USA National football team, which features high school aged Americans squaring off against the best football players the rest of the world has to offer. President and COO of Siege Sports, Wayne McMann, was really excited about this year’s U-18 team jerseys.

“I’m a big fan of the U-18 jerseys for this year,” McMann said. “There’s two games that are taking place in Orlando this year in conjunction with Pro Bowl Weekend, and they’re playing against Team Canada. Two weeks ago we did all the stuff for the US National team, and they played against the Canadian teams and Team Japan.”

“This is the third year that we’ve had the privilege of working with the US National Team. It’s something that we take very seriously, because it is the governing body and it is the National Team. The people that work in that organization, I think they do a tremendous job and I think they’re very prideful in terms of what it means to be an American, and to have the great privilege to put that on their chest.”

This year’s U-18 team features young men from all over Texas, including Henry Teeter from San Angelo Central, Randy Wright from Mansfield Legacy, Reece Field from Plano East, and Cole Moscariello from Houston Memorial. The U-17 team also features multiple Texans, as does the U-16 team.

“I’m feeling very good (about the team’s chances this weekend),” McMann said. “Aaron Ingram did a great job of recruiting all the players and all the coaching staff. They have some tremendous coaches on both the U-18 team and U-19 team. I think that both teams will be up to the task.”

The North American Championship bouts between the US and Canada will be live on ESPN3 starting at 5:30 ET.
