Liberty Hill defeated Rouse 57-38 in a thrilling non-district matchup, thanks to standout plays from special teams and defense. Kaden Cockburn scored on both a blocked field goal return and a 45-yard interception, while kicker Konnor Bye added three field goals to the scoreboard.
The Panthers’ offense was led by Kyle May, who rushed for 139 yards and four touchdowns. Bryce Muchaw and DJ Seaborn also contributed on the ground, combining for nearly 200 rushing yards. Liberty Hill’s clock control in the second half disrupted Rouse’s high-powered passing attack.
Rouse quarterback London Morgan threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns, with wide receiver Leland Smit catching nine passes for 193 yards. Despite their offensive efforts, Rouse couldn’t overcome Liberty Hill’s defensive dominance and efficient offense.
