The athlete out of Humble, Texas is known for using the bubble screen to his advantage and dominating the red zone. As a dual-sport athlete in track as well, Bean will bring some extra speed to the Bears’ offense.

“We already know Baylor is on the rise,” Bean said. “But I don’t wanna stop there. First a Big 12 championship, then the playoffs and the ultimate goal is bringing a Natty back to Waco. And I feel like we can do that with all of the pieces that’s coming together.”

Bean is the thirteenth commit for Baylor from the 2021 recruiting class. As a junior, the 6-foot-5 receiver earned first-team all-district.

“Coach Aranda went out of his to make me feel important to the Baylor program and no other head coach has done that. That’s why I feel like Baylor is the best place for me.” Bean said in regards to what made him choose the rising Baylor program.

Bean has over 20 other offers and chooses Baylor over schools like Arkansas, Boston College, Houston, Indiana, Utah, Vanderbilt and more.
