DeAndre Hopkins is gone, but the Houston Texans are attempting to fill the void.
The Texas replaced their recently departed standout receiver Thursday, when they traded to acquire Brandin Cooks from the Los Angeles Rams.

Along with Cooks, the Texans will receive a future fourth-round pick while giving up a second-round pick.
Hopkins, a four-time Pro Bowler, was recently sent to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for running back David Johnson in a move that had many fans scratching their heads.
Although Cooks is not Hopkins’ equal, he is talented.
Cooks caught 42 passes for 583 yards and two touchdowns last season after hauling in 80 passes for 1,204 and five touchdowns in 2018.
