This is Preseason Top 25 Players in Texas high school football. We weighed talent, college potential, 2021 performance, and expected 2022 performance. While still considering college potential, we give a particularly higher weight to the past season’s performance and 2022 projected performance than most rankings, whereas other rankings weigh more heavily strictly on college potential.
