Top Dallas-Area Players from Thursday Night
The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex contains some of the top high school football teams in the state of Texas. There were some great performances last night all around Big D. Here they are listed below (in no particular order):

QB Jacob Wilson, Trophy Club Byron Nelson:
Wilson completed 19 of 28 passes (68%) for 346 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-28 win over Keller. Wilson threw zero INTs.
WR Landon Ransom-Goelz, Trophy Club Byron Nelson:
Ransom-Goelz hauled in six catches for 194 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged 32 yards per catch in the win over Keller.
QB Brenner Cox, Prosper Rock Hill:
Cox passed for 265 yards and three touchdowns, and he added 1 rushing touchdown in a 35-28 loss to Frisco.
WR Luke Knight, Propser Rock Hill:
Knight caught 9 passes for 196 yards and 1 touchdown. He averaged 21 yards per catch in the loss to Frisco.
QB DeAngelo Ponder, Arlington Bowie:
Ponder passed for 241 yards and three touchdowns, and he added 1 rushing touchdown in a 48-43 win over Arlington Sam Houston.
QB Justin Tone, Arlington Sam Houston:
Tone passed for 277 yards and five touchdowns in the loss to Arlington Bowie.
QB Godspower Nwawuihe, North Garland:
Nwawuihe was 14 of 20 passing (70%) for 265 yards and three touchdowns, and he added two rushing touchdowns in a 45-21 win over South Garland.
WR Tyreon Key, South Garland:
Key caught seven passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns (25 yards per catch) in the loss to North Garland.
RB Kingsley Bennet, Garland Naaman Forest:
Bennet toted the rock 24 times for 215 yards (9 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in a 30-22 win over Garland Lakeview Centennial.
QB Jonathan Hester II, Garland Lakeview Centennial:
Hester was 16 of 24 passing (66%) for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he added 81 yards rushing in the loss to Garland Naaman Forest.
WR Caylon Montgomery, Garland Lakeview Centennial:
Montgomery caught 10 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Garland Naaman Forest. He averaged 19 yards per catch.
QB Gage Roy, Jesuit:
Roy completed 10 of 12 passes (83%) for 192 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 44-0 win over Irving.
