He accounted for 4078 yards and 50 touchdowns in 2020, leading his team to their second consecutive state championship. And, he has been named the Top HS Football Player in the state of Texas for 2021 by MaxPreps.
He is QB Cade Klubnik of Austin Westlake.
Klubnik earned Offensive MVP honors in the 6A title game against Southlake Carroll, a 52-34 win for the Chaps. He passed for 220 yards and rushed for 97 yards and accounted for three touchdowns.

He earned MVP honors at the 2021 Elite 11 Quarterback Competition, and he is committed to the Clemson Tigers.
Klubnik will have protection behind an experienced offensive line, and his favorite target returns in 2021. WR Jayden Greathouse had 1145 receiving yards last season.
The Chaparrals will be looking for their third consecutive state championship when they open the season on August 27th on the road against Temple.
