The Dallas Cowboys must be at Buffalo Wild Wings pushing the ‘Overtime Button’ on Ezekiel Elliott’s case. Because the United States Second Circuit for the Court of Appeals has granted a request for administrative stay.
This means of course, the star back for the Cowboys will be able to play, despite last weeks ruling that he would be out. Yesterday, November 2, Elliott and his team applied for an expedited hearing and injunction, which would block his suspension until his hearing.

As mentioned below, this essentially means Ezekiel Elliott will take handoffs for the Cowboys against the Chiefs this Sunday.

All of this means Ezekiel Elliott will have a hearing next week with a panel of second circuit court judges. If those judges turn over Judge Faillas’ decision from earlier this week, he could get past this. If the judges decide to uphold her decision, he could be suspended as early as next week.
If Elliott is to serve this suspension, particularly starting next week, he would miss games against the Eagles, Redskins and Giants. Elliott’s suspension would end week 16 0f the season, when Dallas hosts Seattle.
Take It Back
The second-year running back was originally suspended for violating the personal conduct policy from allegations of domestic violence. Elliott was not charged with a crime.
Earlier in October, Elliott was granted a temporary restraining order, allowing him to play.
