Court Walker – QB – Trinity Christian
Walker racked up over 500 yards passing and 4 TDs in a 67-62 shootout victory over Nolan Catholic. The senior had a career night through the air, yes, but didn’t neglect the ground either while rushing for three touchdowns. He’s led the Trojans to a 5-3 record so far this year, and if Liberty Christian takes another loss, he could be taking his team to a district title.
Michael Everett – QB – Odem
Everett didn’t throw for a stupid amount of yards, but he found the end zone a whopping eight times with his passes. The Owls bludgeoned Monte Alto, and Everett has his team looking right for a deep playoff run. The Owls will face some tough competition in the playoffs in a deep Division 2 3A bracket that will feature Newton, Cisco, Tolar, and Gunter.
Reese Johnson – QB – Dripping Springs
Johnson rounds out this all-quarterback week with a phenomenal dual threat performance. The senior had nearly identical yardage, passing for 255 yards and running for 231 yards. He also scored 7 total touchdowns in the game, pushing Dripping Springs past Alamo Heights, 64-54.
