The three-star prospect chose the Aggies over offers from Oklahoma State and TCU among others. The East Texas defensive end was a one-time commit to Washington State but decided to re-open his recruitment earlier this month.
At 6-6 and 220 pounds, Wilson is a versatile talent that also saw him play as an outside linebacker last season. 2016 proved to be a strong year for him, finishing with 74 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception return for a touchdown and earning a first-team all-district selection.
Wilson becomes the third Aggies commit in the last four days, joining Manvel linebacker Brian Johnson and Fort Bend Marshall offensive lineman Barton Clement. Texas A&M has a Top 10 recruiting Class for 2018 per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
