20+ Games Canceled: Dallas Area Hit Hard

**BREAKING NEWS ADDITION** Game between #4 Allen vs #14 Cedar Hill canceled Due to COVID-19

Two Top 10 teams in the state, #5 DeSoto and #9 Denton Ryan, along with #19 Prosper, have their games for this week canceled due to COVID-19.

DeSoto is coming off a dominate first game performance, beating Converse Judson 37-0 and moving up to our #5 team in the state.  Also climbing into the top 10 this week was Denton Ryan, coming off a huge win over Denton Guyer 23-20, and a 47-24 week one win over Arlington Martin.  Both teams were rolling and looking to try to climb up into the top 4 in the state rankings, but their seasons are on pause for a week or two.  DeSoto was set to play Prosper, who has canceled this game and the following weeks game against Arlington Lamar.  Denton Ryan has canceled their next two games also, against Frisco Reedy and Denton.

This list of canceled games will likely grow today and tomorrow as teams take more precautions.  Here is the list of games in the Dallas area that have been canceled so far this week:
