UIL realignment sends Bryan & College Station schools to Central Texas district

The four public schools from Bryan and College Station were shipped north and west in Monday’s University Interscholastic League realignment. The direction was not unexpected, but the new assignments nonetheless proved odd.

A&M Consolidated, Bryan, College Station and Rudder were placed in District 18-5A along with Temple, Waco and Waco University. The UIL’s biennial restructuring applies to all extracurricular activities.
