Highlights
Cameron Yoe drops—After a 63-13 drubbing compliments of 4A China Spring, the Yoemen remain in the top ten. The Yoemen will look to get back on track against a 2-1 Bay City side. Don’t let the recent blowout fool you; the Yoemen will be just fine.
Waskom struggles continue—The Wildcats’ slide continues after a 52-20 loss to Grace Community (Tyler). The defending 3A-II state champions are still reeling with a second straight loss. Their 33-game winning streak was snapped in week two, now they have a two-game losing streak. It’s funny how that works out.
Harmony surging—The Harmony (Big Sandy) Eagles are hot. The Eagles have outscored their first three opponents by the score of 159-65. The Eagles moved up to the No. 6 spot this week after a 40-point win over Scurry-Rosser. Harmony continues their season on the road against Quitman on Sept. 16.
