Stamford answered with a composed drive of their own, capped by a 36-yard touchdown pass from Christian Duran to Cle’ Whitfield, tying the game at 7-7 by the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Ganado’s offense found its rhythm again. Ullman connected with Hayden for a 13-yard touchdown, putting the Indians ahead 14-7.
