How to Support Texas Flood Recovery

how to help texas flood victims

As communities across Central Texas battle rising waters and flooded streets, Texas high school football families know the power of teamwork extends beyond the gridiron. In these challenging times, every effort—big or small—can make a real difference for flood victims and their families. Let’s rally around those that need our support.

Here are three impactful ways you can help Texas flood victims this week:

Donate Funds to a Trusted Relief Organization

Volunteer or Support On-the-Ground Meal Distribution

  • World Central Kitchen is serving hot meals to first responders, volunteers, and affected families. Sign up to volunteer or give to their flood relief operations.
  • Local churches like Gateway Fellowship Church in Ingram, TX, are coordinating food and cleaning‐supply drives—reach out to them to donate items or your time.

Send or Drop Off Essential Supplies

  • Matthew 25: Ministries is collecting and shipping cleaning kits, hygiene items, and other essentials.
    • You can mail or drop off supplies to:
      Matthew 25: Ministries
11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242

      • Items most needed include bottled water, non-perishable food, cleaning buckets, mops, and personal hygiene kits.

Together, we can prove that community compassion transcends circumstances. By donating, volunteering, or sending supplies, we let our neighbors know they’re not facing this alone. Every act of kindness, big or small, fuels recovery efforts and strengthens our bonds. Let’s unite in action and heart to help rebuild Central Texas.
