Kingwood’s Christopher Bence Preps Offensive Line for Big 2025

Kingwood High School’s offensive line coach Christopher Bence knows the game starts in the trenches—and he’s excited about the group he’s building for the 2025 season.

Speaking with TexasHSFootball.com at the THSCA Coaching School, Bence emphasized the pride he takes in coaching linemen and the bond that forms in the O-line room. “There’s something special about working with guys who don’t always get the spotlight,” Bence said. “They’re the engine that makes everything go.”

Bence sees potential in the unit and praised the work ethic shown throughout the offseason. With size, experience, and a focus on fundamentals, Kingwood’s line could be a major strength as the Mustangs push to compete in their district.
