Texas HS Football’s latest 1A rankings feature the top five teams in both Division I and Division II following Week 1.

In 1A Division I, Jayton holds the No. 1 spot, followed by Gordon, Rankin, Union Hill and Oglesby. In 1A Division II, Benjamin leads the rankings at No. 1, with Richland Springs second, Cherokee third, Motley County fourth and Strawn fifth.

Texas six-man football is already off to a strong start. With only one week complete, expect plenty of movement as these programs continue through the 2026 season.
