Trophy Club Byron Nelson junior quarterback Ben Odom has been voted the Texas HS Football Week 10 Player of the Week following an outstanding performance in the Bobcats’ 59-0 victory over Fort Worth Boswell.
Odom completed 16 of 23 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns without throwing an interception. He completed nearly 70% of his passes while averaging an impressive 20.3 yards per completion.
The junior quarterback connected with Cooper Waldrip for 153 receiving yards and a touchdown. Gavin Tracer added two touchdown receptions, while Chaz Janese caught another. Behind Odom’s impressive passing performance, Byron Nelson finished with 470 yards of total offense.
A Class of 2028 prospect attracting Division I recruiting interest, Odom continues to establish himself as one of the Fort Worth area’s promising young quarterbacks.
His performance earned him a nomination in the statewide Week 10 fan vote, where Byron Nelson supporters rallied behind their quarterback.
